The above vision statement, "Explore our personal understanding of the "Beloved Community", share
examples, and engender faith and sustainable love for all, including the Earth," was created by the "Sustaining the Beloved Community" group during the Friday discussion at last years conference. And if you were in attendance at last year's "convergence," you probably remember what a Beloved Community the "Beloved Community" group formed that weekend! In their discussion on Saturday afternoon, the group articulated this shared insight, offered here as a seed for further discussion:
"We create and sustain the 'Beloved Community' when we heal our wounds by learning to become an egalitarian community inclusive of all beings and earth."
